LPS17 Tree Pathway

Most days I go for a walk and always take my camera just in case I spot an image, yes this was one I especially enjoyed because of the light, the casting shodow from the trees and the pathway disappearing in the distance. It’s always difficult to know when a painting is finished. I have a tendency to work in detail, this one I was pretty restained and kept my brush strokes to the minimum! However, I started by creating a textured background by applying paint with a serrated kitchen knife, trying purposely to create a flow like movement affect. Hope you like it.
